One Half Beef Share (Deposit)

We are so excited you are interested in stocking your freezer with our beef! It is pretty great, isn't it? Your purchase is such a compliment to us! 

Here is how it works!

Placing a deposit guarantees you a share in our next available beef processed! Our next processing dates are in December of 2024, just in time for Christmas-beef for Christmas Dinner is an old past time ready to resurface! 😉 Your nonrefundable deposit is used as a placeholder and partial payment for your beef. Closer to the time of processing, you will be contacted via email to confirm your purchase. 

A half beef share will feed a family of 4-6 for approximately 6-8 months. With a half beef you will receive approximately 210 pounds of beef consisting of 45-50% Steaks & Roasts, 10-12% Miscellaneous and 40% ground. The cost per pound equates to approximately $10/pound take home, including processing costs.

If you would like to omit suet, liver, or oxtail items, please let us know. These items will not be replaced with other items. If you would like your ground patties made to 1/3 pound, please let us know. The total weight will remain the same while quantity adjusting accordingly. 

The remaining payment will be due upon your beef processing. Your total price for one half beef is $2100. This includes processing for the cuts as specified.

Beef may be picked up at our farm or delivered to your door if you are within 3 hours of Quincy, Illinois. If you live outside the radius, please email us for a shipping quote! We are so excited to bring our beef to your kitchen!

Processing payment here on the website is an option made to be easy and simple for you! We are all no stranger to fees. If you would like to process payment in a fee-free way for us, please feel free to mail a check or use our venmo. Using these payment options will not hinder your placement in line. Checks may be mailed to 1448 E. 2100th St. Camp Point, IL 62320 and our vemno account is @oakaveneuefarm. If you should choose to use the website option, please know there is no additional fee in doing so. We deeply appreciate all the families we have the opportunity to feed and all forms of payment! 

If any cuts are unavailable, we will replace them with a product of equal or greater value
